Welcome.

The pwan is a project that supports the development of free non-development support tools geared towards open source development. The pwan supports the development of UML modeling tools, test coverage tools, formal methods modeling tools, requirements management tools, defect tracking systems, and configuration management tools.

We do not attempt to reinvent the wheel. The pwan will support already existing software in the categories above. The project hopes to do this through a number of means. The first would be to actually use the systems, and thus be able to show others they are actually useful. The second way would be to supply defect fixes where and when possibile. The third way will be to provide tutorials and documentation showing how these tools can be best utilized. The pwan also hopes to convince others that the tools mentioned above have a place in a bazaar-style environment.

However, when the pwan notices a gap in the support toolset, we'll do our damndest to correct the problem. To this end, any source code developed by the pwan will be released under the GPL license.

To date, this development has been limited to a parser for the UML's Object Constraint Parser, which is available on the software page.

These pages are being hosted on SourceForge. As part of the Terms of Service, I've agreed to include their logo on the homepage.
